Brett has over 25 years’ experience in occupational psychology, human resources development and risk management consulting. He has particular expertise in the application of psychological principles for the benefit of improved risk and safety management.
Brett developed his risk consulting reputation over a decade, latterly as a Principal Consultant/Senior Vice President of the Marsh Aviation specialist aviation consulting unit. Prior to that, he was a member of the UK senior management team of Marsh Risk Consulting with revenue and quality responsibility for all of the business’ client training engagements. Brett started his career working exclusively in the insurance sector, with his final role in the Lloyd’s of London market, before specialising as a consultant.
Brett has a BCom Honours degree in Industrial Psychology from the University of Johannesburg and a Certificate in Risk Management from the Chartered Insurance Institute. He is a Specialist Member of the Institute of Risk Management, having completed specific instructional training in Aviation Safety Management Systems with Cranfield University, Aviation Lead Auditing and IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO).
